Gibson 2013 Les Paul Future Tribute Electric Guitar Review

  • Some fraudsters have compromised TGP accounts have in the by few days. They have scammed members in the Emporiums by creating ads with stolen photos and requesting Paypal F&F or Venmo exclusively for payment.

We accept these issues seriously. We've made security changes that I don't want to particular here to stop them. Notwithstanding, the all-time manner to prevent this is for members to exercise proper password hygiene (which I'll detail below), turn on two-factor authentication, and -- I implore every unmarried person hither -- just use payment methods that take buyer protection. Unfortunately, nosotros cannot control how members exercise deals. It is heartbreaking to run into that the lure of saving some money will withal fool people into using those methods to save a few dollars. In today's world, that is simulated conviction you tin no longer beget.

Every account that I've restored then far to the original owner was using compromised passwords. Talking to 1 member equally I am working through getting his account back in gild, he informed me that his Apple password manager had been compromised and fabricated available on the nighttime web.

None of the accounts compromised were using two-gene authentication.

We have forced e-mail revalidation for all members that have not signed on for a while. We highly recommend every fellow member reading this change their passwords as a precaution. Nosotros desire to highly recommend that members turn on and use TGP's two-cistron hallmark choice.

We take opened a discussion thread in the Pub department discussing this.We will include a very detailed countersign checklist.

Looking for reviews on for this guitar. Might exist a good "intro" into the Les Paul world to make sure I tin can get used the the feel/sound of them before dropping the modify for a higher end model.

These Future Tribute models can be had pretty cheap. Practise they feel/sound like a Les Paul, or is there something missing from them?

Haven't played the les Paul tribute but I ain an SG future tribute with the steinberger tuners. I was most to alter them to klusontone pros merely my tech spoke highly of the steinberger tuners. Tuning is supposed to exist more than stable every bit these tuners pull the strings straight down opposed to being wound around a post. I don't listen them and restringing is not hard at all.

I got one well-nigh a year ago.
Inverse the tuners and the knobs and now it's basically a LP Studio Faded.

I really dig the neck profile!
Chunkier than the slim 60s that all the other Tributes accept simply still not a baseball bat. Great playing guitar...

I just got i in merchandise. I have mixed feelings since I have owned numerous R7's & 8'southward. The Time to come certainly feels like a Les Paul, and the Archetype 57's sound pretty proficient if not a bit ambitious (simply pickups are easy to change). The cervix carve feels bigger than what information technology is spec'd to be so that was a pleasant surprise. The Steinberger tuners piece of work really well, although I'm not actually fond of the look. I may slap some Grovers I have on. The torso thickness feels much like a CS versions. The nut on the one I have (2013) absolutely stinks . . if it was cutting past a Plek machine they need to melody the affair upward. The D cord slot was to depression and the others did not seem very consistent. I decided to try one of the Goose egg Glide frets on this guitar . . put it on last night merely they did not send me the correct fret size so it's on but not optimal yet. The fret job seems decent although I'm non sure they were Plek'd ( I hope they were but I've read unlike answers). All in all, I retrieve they are a steal used @$500-650. The forest looks very nice, the cervix is nice, expert pickups, groovy tuners . . only could use a little extra refinement.

I got one a couple months ago on the stupid bargain of the day. It's my back up gig guitar and main rehearsal guitar. 57 classic selection ups, the cervix is close the the 60'due south shape. Tuners are fine, locking, and concur well, it merely looks funny. I have a set of Grover's laying around, but haven't felt the need to cnge them, I plan on adding a pick guard, other than that, for 599, I love it.

That is an crawly guitar
Yah, Futuras are pretty nice. They were a good deal for the price. Push-pull ringlet switching for each pickup. Vivid colors as well. Some had a clearer finish with lightly figured tops.

I own a Futurity Tribute. Information technology is a great "Existent" Les Paul for cheap (comparatively). Maple top/ Mahogany neck and body, a great set of Gibson pickups (57 & 57+). I enjoy the tuners equally well as a new experience, and the wait is pretty sleek. Plays and sounds similar a much more expensive Paul.

I do think it will cure the GAS for a more than expensive LP, since you are simply paying for the look at that bespeak, and you will already have the experience of owning and playing an LP with Gibson on the headstock. That kind of money could be much better spent elsewhere tbh.
